Research Strategy of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is committed to assuring excellence and expanding the boundaries of knowledge and insight through teaching as well as research carried out within a wide range of scholarly fields.
These include the following: archaeology, art history, comparative literature, Croatian language and literature, ethnology and cultural anthropology, history, linguistics, pedagogy, philosophy, phonetics and languages and literatures (East, West and South Slavic languages, English, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Indology, Italian, Latin, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish), information sciences, pedagogy, psychology, and sociology.
The research carried out at this institution meets high-level international criteria.
